Ebony Vernice Hoffman (born August 27, 1982 in Los Angeles, California) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Sparks in the WNBA. She currently plays and won the championship with Fenerbahçe İstanbul in Turkey. She also played for Polisportiva Ares Ribera in Italy and TEO Vilnius in Lithuania, Ramat Hasharon in Israel.[1]

Hoffman played for Narbonne High School in Harbor City, California, where she was named a WBCA All-American.[2] She participated in the 2000 WBCA High School All-America Game where she scored nine points.[3]
She was selected by the Indiana Fever as the ninth overall pick in the 2004 WNBA Draft. She attended the University of Southern California (USC).
In 2008, Hoffman was selected as the WNBA's Most Improved Player.
Hoffman was invited to the USA Basketball Women's National Team training camp in the fall of 2009.[4] The team selected to play for the 2010 FIBA World Championship and the 2012 Olympics is usually chosen from these participants. At the conclusion of the training camp, the team will travel to Ekaterinburg, Russia, where they compete in the 2009 UMMC Ekaterinburg International Invitational.[4]
